The IPE IPE-010 is an obscure agricultural aircraft developed in Brazil by Indústria Paranaense de Estruturas Ltda, more commonly known as IPE Aeronaves. Based in Curitiba, Paraná, IPE Aeronaves was founded on August 22, 1973, and established a reputation as a manufacturer of general aviation aircraft and gliders. The IPE-010 represents a specialized effort by the company to enter the niche market of agricultural aviation with a domestic STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) design.
Designed as a single-seat crop-sprayer, the IPE-010 is characterized by a low-wing monoplane configuration. This design choice is relatively uncommon for agricultural aircraft, which frequently utilize high-wing or shoulder-wing layouts to improve visibility and spray clearance. The aircraft is also referred to by the name "CurianGo," though the specific origin or meaning of this designation is not documented.
