The **Aeropilot Legend** is a Czech-manufactured family of light sport aircraft (LSA) and ultralights. Designed as an 80% scale composite version of the Cessna 182, the series includes the Legend 540 and the Legend 600 (L600). It is characterized by its all-composite sandwich construction, high-wing strut-braced design, and its utility as a recreational touring and elementary pilot training aircraft.

The Aeropilot Legend is a modern Czech light sport and ultralight aircraft family developed by Aeropilot s.r.o. The aircraft was designed as an 80% scale version of the Cessna 182, utilizing an all-composite sandwich construction to provide a high-performance alternative within the microlight and LSA categories. Notably, the Legend 600 is described as offering more passenger room than the original Cessna design it emulates.

Development of the Legend began in January 2010, and the aircraft was first introduced to the public at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in 2011. In December 2012, Aeropilot obtained the Czech LAA type certificate for the ultralight, which led to the commencement of series production at the company's facility in Čáslav, Czech Republic. The product line expanded internationally with the first Legend 600 built for an Australian client in 2015, and the issuance of a U.S. FAA Special Light Sport Aircraft (S-LSA) airworthiness certificate in 2016.

The Legend family consists of two primary configurations: the Legend 540, designed to comply with Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) microlight rules, and the Legend 600 (L600), configured as a 600 kg LSA. The aircraft is typically powered by a Rotax 912 series engine, with the 100 hp Rotax 912ULS being a common fit, although the Legend 540 also offered an 85 hp Jabiru 2200 option. Promotional materials have indicated engine options ranging from 80 hp to 140 hp.

Designed for recreational flying, cross-country touring, and elementary pilot training for PPL holders, the Legend is noted for its efficiency, with a cruise speed of approximately 210 km/h (113 kn) and a range of around 1,300 km (700 nmi). Evidence indicates that production began around 2012 and has continued into the early 2020s, as seen in FAA registrations issued as recently as August 2022.
