The S750 emerged from a collaboration between Aero East Europe and the University of Belgrade's Department of Mechanical Engineering, representing Serbia's determination to rebuild its aviation industry after decades of economic and political upheaval. The aircraft was designed to comply with both FAI microlight regulations and the more stringent EASA CS-VLA certification standards, positioning it as a versatile platform for the European light aircraft market.
Engineers incorporated proven design elements including a V-strut-braced high-wing configuration, enclosed cabin, and fixed tricycle landing gear. The aircraft features a semi-monocoque structure combining aluminum and steel components, with different NACA airfoil sections optimized for each variant's mission profile. The cruiser model employs a NACA 5417 airfoil across its 9.47-meter wingspan, while the medical transport version utilizes a NACA 65-018 section on its 10-meter wing.

The S750 family comprises three primary variants, each tailored for specific operational requirements. The 750 C cruiser model serves as the baseline configuration, accommodating two occupants in a conventional touring arrangement. Its 9.47-meter wingspan generates 11.94 square meters of wing area, providing efficient cruise performance for cross-country flights.
The 750 S variant incorporates short takeoff and landing capabilities through the addition of full-span Junkers flaperons, enabling operations from confined airstrips. This STOL-focused design maintains the two-seat configuration while enhancing low-speed handling characteristics critical for bush flying and utility operations.
Most specialized is the 750 MT medical transport variant, featuring three seats and equipment provisions for aerial ambulance duties. This version employs a 10-meter wingspan with 14.30 square meters of wing area, utilizing the NACA 65-018 airfoil section and full-span flaperons to optimize performance for medical evacuation missions.
Powerplant and Performance
All S750 variants utilize the Austrian-built Rotax 912ULS engine, a four-cylinder, four-stroke powerplant producing 75 kilowatts (101 horsepower). This liquid and air-cooled engine has proven exceptionally reliable in ultralight applications, with production spanning over three decades and tens of thousands of units delivered worldwide since 1994.
The Rotax installation drives a tractor propeller configuration, with fuel carried in tanks providing 100 liters (26 US gallons) of capacity on tested configurations. This fuel load enables extended cross-country flights while maintaining the aircraft's ultralight classification and operational economics.
Manufacturing and Production
Aero East Europe doo launched S750 production in 2013 from facilities in Kraljevo, Serbia, before relocating manufacturing operations to Jagodina. The company emerged from Serbia's rich aviation heritage, which included seven aircraft factories operating between 1923 and 1941, with facilities like Ikarus producing over 441 aircraft during that period.
The modern revival connected directly to the legacy of Utva, Serbia's post-war aircraft manufacturer known for training aircraft like the Utva 75. While exact production numbers remain undocumented, the company continues manufacturing S750 variants alongside maintenance services for the broader light aircraft community.
Operational Service
The S750 serves primarily civilian roles including personal transportation, flight training, and specialized utility missions. Private owners operate the type throughout Europe, taking advantage of its EASA CS-VLA certification for broader operational flexibility compared to purely ultralight classifications.
The medical transport variant represents the most specialized application, providing three-seat capacity for patient evacuation from remote locations.
