AviogenexAGX/ JJ

Aviogenex was a Yugoslav charter airline founded in 1968 and headquartered in Belgrade that primarily operated passenger charter flights and inclusive tour services throughout Europe and to destinations in Africa and the Middle East. The airline was known for its extensive charter operations serving European tour operators and was one of the major charter carriers based in Eastern Europe during the Cold War era. Aviogenex ceased operations in 1991 due to the breakup of Yugoslavia and the subsequent wars in the region, which made it impossible to maintain commercial airline operations. The airline's demise marked the end of what had been a significant player in European charter aviation for over two decades.
