Ukraine International AirlinesAUI/ PS

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) was founded in 1992 and was headquartered in Kyiv, operating as Ukraine's flagship full-service carrier. The airline conducted extensive international passenger operations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with major hubs in Kyiv and seasonal operations from other Ukrainian cities. UIA was a member of the IATA and maintained codeshare agreements with various international carriers, offering economy and business class on its long-haul routes. The airline operated the frequent flyer program called UIA Loyalty and was majority-owned by the state-controlled Boryspil Airport joint-stock company before the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Operations were severely disrupted and ultimately ceased in February 2022 due to the military conflict, making UIA one of many airlines affected by the war in Ukraine.
