Braniff International Airways (BNF) — 0 Aircraft Fleet/ BN

Braniff International Airways was a major American airline headquartered in Dallas, Texas, that operated from 1928 until its collapse in 1989. The carrier grew from regional roots to become one of the largest airlines in the United States, operating an extensive network of domestic routes and significant international services to Central and South America, as well as transatlantic flights to Europe. Known for its innovative marketing, including legendary designer Alexander Girard's bold "Flying Colors" livery program of the 1960s, Braniff offered multiple cabin classes on long-haul routes and operated both jet and turboprop services depending on route requirements. The airline was not part of any major alliance and maintained its independence throughout most of its operational history. Braniff's decline came during the deregulation era of the 1980s, when increased competition and fuel costs pressured the carrier's finances, ultimately leading to its bankruptcy filing and cessation of operations in 1989.
