The Meyers 200, a premium four-seat retractable-gear aircraft renowned for its exceptional build quality and performance, established itself as perhaps the finest single-engine production aircraft of its era. First flown as a prototype in 1953, it was a low-wing monoplane powered by Continental engines ranging from 225 to 285 horsepower, capable of seating four occupants. The aircraft achieved cruise speeds up to 183 knots and set several class speed records during the 1960s. Manufactured by Meyers Aircraft Company and later Aero Commander, only 124-135 examples were produced between 1959 and 1968.
