Lufthansa CityLine was a regional airline subsidiary of Lufthansa Group founded in 1988 and headquartered in Cologne, Germany, operating regional routes throughout Europe primarily on behalf of its parent company. The airline specialized in short- to medium-haul passenger flights, serving as a crucial feeder operation for Lufthansa's major hub airports in Frankfurt, Munich, and Cologne, connecting smaller European cities to the Lufthansa network. As a regional carrier within the Star Alliance, Lufthansa CityLine offered economy and business class seating on its regional aircraft, with passengers able to earn and redeem miles through the Miles & More frequent flyer program.
