Dana Air was a Nigerian low-cost airline that operated domestic and regional flights across West Africa from its base in Lagos. Founded in 2007, the carrier positioned itself as a budget alternative in the Nigerian aviation market, offering economy-class service on routes connecting major cities throughout the country and select international destinations. Dana Air was not part of any major global alliance and operated independently as a regional low-cost carrier. The airline ceased operations in 2012 following financial difficulties and operational challenges in the competitive Nigerian market.
