The Learjet 25, one of the most successful early business jets, revolutionized executive aviation by combining high speed with increased passenger capacity. First flown on August 12, 1966, it was a low-wing twin-engine turbojet that seated eight passengers plus two crew members. Stretching 1.27 meters longer than its predecessor, the aircraft measured 10.80 meters in wingspan and could operate at altitudes up to 15,545 meters. Manufactured by Learjet Corporation in Wichita, Kansas, 373 aircraft were produced between 1967 and 1982.
