Estonian Air was the flag carrier of Estonia, founded in 1991 following the country's independence and headquartered in Tallinn. The airline operated scheduled passenger services primarily from its main hub at Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, connecting Estonia to major European cities and serving as a key link between the Nordic region and Eastern Europe. As a full-service carrier, Estonian Air offered economy and business class cabins and operated a frequent flyer program called Estonian Air Plus. The airline was a member of the Star Alliance from 2003 until its closure, positioning it within one of the world's largest aviation networks. Estonian Air ceased operations in 2012 due to financial difficulties, after which Nordica took over as Estonia's national carrier.
