GoAir was an Indian low-cost carrier headquartered in Mumbai that operated from 2005 until its merger with fellow budget airline IndiGo in 2020. The airline primarily served the Indian domestic market with a focus on point-to-point routes connecting major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, though it also operated some international flights to neighboring countries. As a low-cost carrier, GoAir offered basic economy cabin service with a high-density seating configuration and a simplified fare structure typical of the budget airline model. The airline was known for its competitive pricing and efficient operations within the Indian aviation market, competing directly with other low-cost carriers in one of Asia's fastest-growing aviation sectors. Following IndiGo's acquisition of GoAir, the brand was phased out and operations were integrated into the larger IndiGo network.
