Helios Airways was a Cypriot airline headquartered in Larnaca that operated from 1999 until its closure in 2006. The carrier was a full-service, leisure-focused airline that primarily offered charter and scheduled passenger services connecting Cyprus with destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Helios Airways operated a point-to-point network rather than using hub-and-spoke operations and offered economy and business class seating on its international routes. The airline was notable for its focus on serving the growing leisure travel market from Cyprus, capitalizing on the island's tourism industry.
