Sky Europe AirlinesHSK

Sky Europe Airlines was a low-cost carrier based in Bratislava, Slovakia, that operated from 2001 until ceasing operations in 2009. The airline focused on point-to-point service across Central and Eastern Europe, with its main hub at M.R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava, and served secondary cities throughout the region including Warsaw, Budapest, and Prague. As a low-cost carrier, Sky Europe offered no-frills service with a single economy cabin and generated revenue through ancillary fees for baggage, seat selection, and onboard services. The airline was not part of any major airline alliance and operated independently throughout its existence. Sky Europe ceased operations in September 2009 due to financial difficulties during the global economic crisis, marking the end of Slovakia's largest airline at that time.
