LADE (Líneas Aéreas del Estado) was an Argentine state-owned airline founded in 1945 that primarily operated military and civilian transport services. The carrier was headquartered in Buenos Aires and served as Argentina's air force transport command, operating both passenger flights on domestic and regional routes and cargo services throughout South America. LADE maintained a mixed civil-military model, offering economy-class passenger service alongside its strategic military logistics operations, with significant presence across Argentina's interior regions and connections to neighboring countries. The airline was not part of any major international alliance and operated independently as a government entity. LADE ceased operations in 1999 when it was merged with Argentina's other state airline, Aerolíneas Argentinas, following financial difficulties and Argentina's broader aviation restructuring during that period.
