Air Jamahiriya Company was a national airline of Libya that operated from 1964 until its dissolution in 2012. Headquartered in Tripoli, the airline provided scheduled passenger service throughout North Africa and to select European destinations, with primary hubs at Tripoli International Airport and Benghazi Airport. As a full-service carrier and the flag airline of Libya, it operated a mixed fleet serving both short- and long-haul routes across the Mediterranean region. The airline was wholly owned by the Libyan government and remained independent rather than joining any major airline alliance. Air Jamahiriya ceased operations during the Libyan civil conflict in 2011 and was formally dissolved the following year, marking the end of nearly five decades of service to the North African region.
