Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano was Bolivia's flag carrier, founded in 1925 and headquartered in La Paz, making it one of the world's oldest continuously operating airlines. The airline operated as a full-service carrier providing domestic and international passenger services, with primary hubs in La Paz and Santa Cruz, connecting Bolivia to major cities across South America and limited international routes. LAB was not part of any global airline alliance and offered standard economy and business class seating on its routes. The airline maintained a loyal customer base through its frequent flyer program and served as an important link for connectivity in the Andean region. However, LAB ceased operations in 2001 due to financial difficulties and increasing competition, ending over 75 years of service to Bolivia and South America.
