The Sport Performance Aviation Panther is a modern single-seat homebuilt kit aircraft designed for aerobatic sport flying and Light Sport Aircraft certification. First flown on April 23, 2013, it features a low-wing, all-metal configuration with foldable wings and accepts various horizontally opposed piston engines from 80 to 160 horsepower. With a wingspan of 21.5 to 23.5 feet depending on variant and a maximum speed of 180 miles per hour, the aircraft is manufactured by Sport Performance Aviation LLC in Green Cove Springs, Florida.
