Avianca Brazil was a low-cost carrier founded in 2008 and based in São Paulo, Brazil, operating primarily domestic flights throughout the country with some regional service to South America. As a subsidiary of the Colombian airline Avianca, the carrier offered point-to-point service with a single economy cabin configuration, competing in Brazil's price-sensitive market segment. The airline operated from multiple Brazilian airports including São Paulo (Congonhas and Guarulhos) and Rio de Janeiro, focusing on high-frequency routes between major cities. Avianca Brazil ceased operations in December 2019 due to financial difficulties and operational challenges in Brazil's competitive low-cost market.
