Sosoliso Airlines was a Nigerian airline that operated from 1994 until its closure in 2007, headquartered in Lagos. The carrier provided scheduled passenger services primarily on domestic routes within Nigeria, connecting major cities and serving as an important regional operator for West African travel. Sosoliso was known for operating a modest fleet and maintaining a focus on reliability within the challenging Nigerian aviation market. The airline ceased operations following the devastating crash of Flight 1145 near Port Harcourt in December 2005, which significantly impacted public confidence and the company's operational viability. Despite efforts to resume services after the accident, Sosoliso Airlines ultimately could not recover and suspended operations permanently in 2007.
