The Tecnam P-2012 Traveller represents a new generation of twin-engine commuter aircraft designed specifically to replace aging regional fleets worldwide. First flown on July 21, 2016, it features a high-wing configuration with twin Lycoming TEO-540-C1A engines producing 375 horsepower each, accommodating 9 passengers plus 1-2 pilots. With a maximum speed of 226 knots and advanced Garmin glass cockpit systems, the aircraft was manufactured by Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam of Italy.
