The Team Rocket F-1 Rocket is a high-performance homebuilt aircraft that brought fighter-like performance to the experimental aviation market. First flown in November 2000, it evolved from Van's RV-4 design with significant enhancements for extreme performance capabilities. This low-wing, tandem two-seat monoplane features a powerful Lycoming IO-540 engine producing up to 300 horsepower, achieving climb rates exceeding 3,100 feet per minute and cruise speeds over 230 mph. Originally developed by Team Rocket Aircraft of Taylor, Texas, with initial manufacturing by International High Performance Aircraft in the Czech Republic.
