The Rockwell Commander 112 was a four-seat general aviation aircraft designed to compete with established models like the Beechcraft Bonanza in the premium single-engine market. First flown on December 4, 1970, it featured a low-wing configuration with retractable landing gear, powered by a 200-horsepower Lycoming IO-360 engine. With dimensions of over 64 feet in length and a 95-foot wingspan, the aircraft offered spacious cabin accommodations for cross-country travel. Manufactured by North American Rockwell's Aero Commander Division from 1972 to 1980.
