The Cessna 408 SkyCourier, a purpose-built cargo aircraft designed to modernize small-package delivery operations, represents the first entirely new twin-turboprop freighter developed specifically for express logistics networks in decades. First flown on May 17, 2020, it is a high-wing twin-engine aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney PT6A-65SC turboprops that can carry 6,000 pounds of cargo or accommodate 19 passengers. Measuring over 64 feet in length with an 87 by 69 inch cargo door, the aircraft was manufactured by Textron Aviation in Wichita, Kansas.
