Air IvoireVUN/ VU

Air Ivoire was the flag carrier of Ivory Coast, headquartered in Abidjan and founded in 1977 as a national airline providing passenger and cargo services across West Africa and beyond. Operating as a full-service carrier, the airline served key routes connecting Abidjan to major African cities and European destinations, with its primary hub at Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport in Abidjan. The airline offered multiple cabin classes including business and economy seating on its international routes. However, Air Ivoire ceased operations in 2012 due to financial difficulties and operational challenges, marking the end of nearly 35 years of service as Ivory Coast's primary international carrier. The airline was eventually succeeded by Air Côte d'Ivoire, which was established as the new national flag carrier in 2017.
