Flightradar24, the world's leading flight tracking service, announced April 28 the appointment of Andreas Schorling as chief executive officer. The Stockholm-based company said the move is part of its ongoing organizational development.

Flightradar24 continues to operate its real-time flight tracking platform via website and mobile applications. Premium subscribers have access to extended data history export tools across Silver, Gold and Business tiers.

No additional quotes from the board or outgoing leadership were available in the initial announcement. The transition appears to be a standard executive leadership change without operational implications.
