Beechcraft G36 Hits Perimeter Fence in Danbury Runway Excursion

A Beechcraft G36, registration N726EA, struck a perimeter fence at Danbury Municipal Airport on Thursday morning after failing to become airborne during takeoff. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on June 4, 2026, according to local reports from News 12 Connecticut and Patch.

Airport officials said the aircraft did not gain sufficient lift during the takeoff roll, continuing beyond the runway end and striking a fence near Backus Avenue. The pilot was the sole occupant and reported no injuries.
