Medical Transport Crash in New Mexico Kills Four
A Beech C90 King Air medical transport aircraft crashed in the Capitan Mountain wilderness of Lincoln County, New Mexico, on May 14, 2026, killing all four people on board.
According to reports from CBS4 Local, the aircraft departed Roswell and was en route to Sierra Blanca Regional Airport when it lost communication and radar contact in the early hours of the morning. Local news outlets, including KFOX TV, reported that the crash sparked a wildfire in the wilderness area.
The victims have been identified as Keelan Clark and Ali Kawsara, pilots with Generation Jets, and Sarah Clark and Jamie Novick, flight nurses with Trans Aero MedEvac. The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration have launched an investigation into the accident. A probable cause has not yet been established.
