Piper PA-28 Suffers Substantial Damage in Chandler Accident

A Piper PA-28-140, registration N8714N, was substantially damaged in an accident near Chandler, Arizona, on May 14, 2026. According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the incident occurred at approximately 8:43 p.m. MST.

The pilot sustained minor injuries during the accident. No fatalities were reported. The NTSB has assigned event ID 20260517203002 to the investigation and has not yet released a determination regarding the probable cause.
