Cessna T41 Crashes Into Arizona Home During Takeoff, Two Injured

A Cessna T41 crashed into a residence in Fort Mohave, Arizona, Tuesday morning after veering off course during takeoff. The single-engine aircraft struck a garage attached to a home around 11:40 a.m. local time, injuring both people aboard. The occupants sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for evaluation, while no one inside the residence was hurt.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office confirmed the crash and released images showing the damaged aircraft against the structure. The Federal Aviation Administration has opened an investigation into the cause, with preliminary reports noting the aircraft veered left before impact. Authorities have not yet determined why the pilot lost directional control during the takeoff roll.

The incident underscores ongoing safety concerns with general aviation operations near residential areas. It follows a March crash involving a Piper PA-28 near Phoenix, where mechanical issues were suspected. The FAA investigation will determine whether similar technical factors contributed to the Fort Mohave accident.
