A Cessna Citation CJ4 (registration N361MB) experienced a right main landing gear collapse during rollout at Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport on Sept. 25, 2025. The aircraft veered off the runway and sustained structural damage, but both occupants escaped without injury.

The National Transportation Safety Board determined the collapse resulted from an improperly installed trunnion pin on the right main gear. The pin was not fully seated, preventing the retention bolt from passing through and allowing the gear to separate under load during the landing rollout.
