THE IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF THE FORWARD SPARK PLUG BY THE OWNER/PILOT, WHICH RESULTED IN A LOSS OF ENGINE POWER. A FACTOR WAS THE LACK OF SUITABLE TERRAIN FOR A FORCED LANDING.
