The personal cross-country flight departed Buckeye, Arizona, about 1000. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed and no flight plan was filed.
The pilot stated he was landing on runway 12 and the winds were light and variable. Touchdown was uneventful, but during the landing roll the airplane veered to the right. The airplane departed the runway, and struck a runway edge light.
