On September 24, 2008 at 0645 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Liberty XL-2, Australian registration VH-CZX, collided with the terrain near Hoxton Park, Australia. The pilot, the sole occupant, was killed. It is reported that the airplane collided in an open level field.
