Summary

On June 20, 2012, a Grumman Acft Eng Cor-schweizer G-164B (N6861K) was involved in an accident near Okanogan, WA. The accident resulted in 1 serious injury. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.

The National Transportation Safety Board determined the probable cause of this accident to be: The pilot's failure to maintain clearance from power lines while maneuvering.

The pilot reported that while establishing the second boundary along the eastern edge of a field where he was conducting an aerial application, the airplane struck power lines.
