On October 03, 2012, at 1100 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-25-260, Brazilian registration PT-DOX, was destroyed when it impacted the ground and was consumed by fire after colliding with high-tension electric wires. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight was conducting crop-dusting operations in the vicinity of Juquia Municipality, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
