On May 25, 2011, about 0810 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), a Dassault Falcon 7X airplane, with Swiss registration HB-JFN, operated by Jet Link AG, had its flight crew report a runaway trim during descent and they declared an emergency. The flight crew was able to regain airplane control and subsequently landed the airplane at the Kuala Lumpur/Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah/Subang Airport, near Subang, Malaysia. The three flight crew members were not injured and the airplane sustained no damage. The flight originated from the Nurnberg Airport, near Nurnberg, Germany.
The Malaysian Ministry of Transport and the French Bureau d'Enquetes et d'Analyses pour la Securite de l'Aviation Civile (BEA) have agreed to have the BEA investigate the incident and produce the final report.
