On July 16, 2013, about 1022 universal coordinated time, a Beech 58, Brazilian registration PR-OKK, was destroyed when it impacted trees and terrain after a loss of directional control during takeoff from Eduardo Gomes International Airport (SBEG), Manuas, Brazil. The Brazilian certificated pilot and 2 passengers were fatally injured. Three passengers were seriously injured. The flight was destined for Prainha Airport, Apui, Amazonas, Brazil.
According to investigators, the airplane was on the takeoff roll when it departed the left side of the runway at a 45-degree angle and collided with trees and terrain. The airplane was partially consumed by a post-crash fire.
