On August 3, 2013, at 1524 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Beech model 58, Brazilian registration PT-LKG, operated by a private owner, was destroyed following a collision with terrain on approach to Jundiai Airport (SBJD), State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The pilot elected to return to SBJD after tower personnel reported smoke coming from the left engine. The flight originated at SBJD and was destined for Bataipora, Brazil (SSBT). One crewmember and three passengers were fatally injured.
The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
