On November 16, 2012, about 0813 local time (1113 coordinated universal time), a Beech BE-55, Paraguayan registration ZP-BLV, was destroyed when it impacted terrain about 500 meters short of the runway at a ranch in Departamento Presidente Hayes, about 50 kilometers northwest of Concepcion, Paraguay, and 235 kilometers north of Asuncion, Paraguay. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed. The Paraguayan pilot and two passengers were fatally injured. The flight, which originated at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport (SGAS), Asuncion, Paraguay, was operating under Paraguayan flight regulations.
