Analysis
On January 20, 2014, about 1400 coordinated universal time, a Britten-Norman BN-2A-27 airplane, YR-BNP, impacted mountainous terrain near Horea, Cluj, Romania. The two pilots, and five passengers were all fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed. The flight departed the Baneasa International Airport (LRBS) and was en route to the Oradea International Airport (LROD).
According to information provided by the Romanian investigators, the airplane impacted a snowy, wooded area in mountainous terrain under unknown circumstances.
