Analysis
On May 3, 2014, about 1500 coordinated universal time, a Piper PA-31, Canadian registration C-GSVM, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain near Santander, Colombia. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The local survey flight departed Bucaramanga, Colombia, and was conducted under Colombian flight regulations.
