Analysis

On September 14, 2014, about 1520 coordinated universal time, a Beech BE-300-LW, Argentine registration LV-WLT, was destroyed while the airplane was on the initial approach in instrument meteorological conditions to Jorge Newbery Airport (SABE), Buenos Aires, Argentina when it impacted two houses, then terrain, and a postcrash fire ensued. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The personal flight was conducted under Argentine flight regulations and originated at Estancia La Nueva Airstrip, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Argentina.
