HK-4287 – ROBINSON R22 - BETA – 2014-09-16 NTSB Accident Report

On September 16, 2014, a Robinson R22 - BETA (HK-4287) was involved in an incident near Amaga, CO. All 2 people aboard were uninjured. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.

On August 28, 2014, about 2040 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Robinson R22, Columbian registration HK 4287, operated by Halcones Aviation Flight School, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain and rolled over following a loss of engine power near Farm Los Pedregales, Amagá, Columbia. The two pilots were not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local, instructional flight that originated at Medellin, Columbia (SKMD).
