The United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has notified the NTSB of an incident involving an Emirates AIRBUS 330-200 that occurred on October 04, 2014. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the GCAA investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the engine.
