On February 19, 2015, about 1340 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Cessna 182P, Brazilian registration PT-KBV, was destroyed when it broke up inflight and impacted terrain near the Bueno Brandao Municipality, in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The pilot, copilot, and 2 passengers were fatally injured. The personal flight departed from Parati (SDTK), Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was destined for Dr. Leite Lopes- Ribeirão Preto (SBRP), Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil.
