On March 30, 2015, about 0630 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Rans S6-ES airplane, French registration 974-GQ, impacted terrain near Tan Rouge, Reunion. The pilot and passenger on board were fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed. The local flight originated on the island of Reunion.
