On May 22, 2015, at 1630 mountain daylight time, a Canadian registered Air Tractor, AT-802A airplane, C-FDHV, operated by the Conair Group Inc., was destroyed when it collided with terrain under unknown circumstances during firefighting operations near Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight originated from Lac la Biche, Alberta, Canada.
