On August 8, 2015, at 1708 universal coordinated time, a Cessna U206F airplane, Russian registration RA- 67523 registered to a private owner, and a Robinson R44 II helicopter, Russian registration RA- 04383, registered to a private owner, collided while maneuvering over the Istra Reservoir, in Istra, Russia. Both aircraft impacted the waters of the reservoir and were destroyed. The pilot and 4 passengers in the airplane, and the pilot and 3 passengers in the helicopter, were all fatally injured.
This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of the Russia.
