Summary

On March 22, 2016, a Fairchild SA-227-AT (VH-UZI) was involved in an accident near Brisbane, AS.

During a post-flight inspection of a Fairchild SA227-AT, Registration Number VH-UZI, powered by two TPE331-11U-611G Honeywell Turbine engines, evidence of a fuel leak was detected on the left-hand engine. Further investigation revealed a fire on the left-hand engine.
